Greenfield Community Centre has taken the initiative to educate and encourage people to plant trees. Also, the organization provides plant saplings for plantation work. The action plan involves education on the harmful effects of greenhouse gasses. It is only when people are aware of global warming that they will be encouraged to plant trees.

Education on deforestation is the only way forward. People cut trees for wood but little do they know that plants give life. They soak carbon dioxide and keep the environment cool. There was a time when the entire planet was covered with trees but today the green cover is thinning everywhere.
